More than 130 people were gathered on Wednesday 28th September at the invitation of members of the association Andantino and their guests to discover (or rediscover) the exhibition in homage at Giacometti and attend a very surprising concert as all composers were from the 20th century, since the Fondation Maeght only accepts artworks composed after 1945!

We had the chance to discover artworks composed by Jacques Ibert, Nicolas Bacri and Betsy Jolas, performed by the Maestro Philippe Bender, flute, Berthilde Dufour, first violin of the Orchestre Regional de Cannes Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur, Philippe Cauchefer, cellist of the orchestra and a young and very talented harpist, Magalie de Coster.

We all thank Adrien Maeght and his family for welcoming us so warmly and for guiding us so passionately in the exhibition devoted to Giacometti. The evening ended with a delicious buffet in the Miro’s maze.

A memorable evening for our association, which is growing every day more!
