An unforgettable seminar along the Amalfitan coast

Organisation of a seminar on the Amalfitan coast: 100% successful!

I’ve had the pleasure and honour to organise a seminar for an international retail company, onboard The Levant, a splendid ship of the Compagnie du Ponant.

half way from the cruise ship and the private boat, Le Levant is a magnificent 100 meters long ship for 90 persons (45 cabins).  She has two restaurants, two bars, a swimming pool, fitness and all water sports equipment that one can wish.

The commander Daumesnil Regis and his crew (55 members) have been remarkably attentive to any request and we have unforgettable moments during those seven days.

Wonderful natural and historical sites

Our travel started in Civitavecchia, our first anchorage being Amalfi and then Positano the second day. Extraordinary landscapes, discovery of perched villages on the mountainside. Visit of churches, monuments, magical views. A great and enriching experience!

Then we went to Sorrento, a particularly mythic and romantic place. Next was the island of Capri and its many shops and then we finally reach the island of Ischia, where all participants could enjoy the pleasures of bathing at the Poseidon Gardens.

The next two days, we stopped in Naples at the foot of the imposing Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii and visited the catacombs of San Gennaro before crossing to Corsica where we docked at the port of Bonifacio for a free day before cruising to Civitavecchia.

Everything came together to make this trip a great adventure!

Do you want to share the secret of a successful seminar? 1/3 of organization, 1/3 of creativity, 1/3 of experience! Feel free to contact me to organize your 200% successful seminars!

What future for meetings, congresses and conferences?

The future of corporate events, between emotion and technology

The world has changed. Customers expectations and behaviors have changed during these last 3 years. Our way of working has also changed. The methods and processes of planning and organizing events have been adapted to this more demanding market. Everyday, we innovate.

Today, videoconferencing is a technology perfectly suited to the delivery of a message “One to Others” and the animation of small groups of people. It is also, we have experienced it during the eruption of the islandic vulcano, an excellent alternative for rapid decision making or information sharing. But videoconferencing can not be considered as the Alpha and Omega of the meeting organization.

Human beings are inherently gregarious. Human contact and physical proximity are indispensable for creating links between people. Men and women will still need to meet, share and reinforce their belonging to a physical community.

The real content of an event is the discovery (of a product, a concept or of an individual). This discovery, to be significant and memorable, has to include a strong emotional dimension. It is where the talent of event companies is. And where the true power of meetings resides.

let’s discuss it at IMEX’10, I’ll be there today!
(June 25 to 27 – Frankfurt)

IMEX’10 will be held in Frankfurt, from May 25th to 27th

A must go !  I attend to this exhibition with enthousiasm, both for the quality of  the meeting and conferences as for the business opportunities.

Out of the 230 (!) scheduled events, the conferences “The Future of Meetings”, “Innovation & Technology Initiatives Meeting” and the ‘New Vision Initiative Visitors ” have my preference.

In recent months, I have been quite active in many areas such as…

Teaching MICE

I have continued teaching MICE industries at the University of Nice to Master 1 students. Those hours spent with them were extremely rewarding for me!

In April, they will be looking for internships in agencies, hotels or corporation organizing events. Those internships should last at least 4 months. Do not hesitate to contact me, should you have any opportunities.

 Association Andantino

Our association ANDANTINO is always looking for new members. Several events have been organized since the beginning of the year. We have attended a quite unknown but wonderful opera by W.A. MOZART: “Lucio Scilla” written at the age of 16.

International Jumping of Cannes

I am supporting the International Jumping of Cannes taking place on the 10, 11 and 12 of June, one of the 5 most prestigious contests in the world!

The organisation is looking for some additional partners. Should you be interested, please contact me : [email protected] .

Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix

For the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix from May 13 to 16, The VILLA REIS yacht will be docked close to the track, some spaces are still available.

Great properties

I have recently experienced some great properties which I would like to recommend:

  • The TOUESSROK in MAURITIUS
  • The hotel LANA in COURCHEVEL
  • The Palais DAR AMBRE in MARRAKECH
